The land of Surendranagar, where houses numbered 1752 to 1764 were constructed between 1752 and 1764, is significant for the families that have been nomadic for centuries. It is essential to conduct the worship of this land with respect, as it is the land that has offered a place for these families to settle. The purpose behind this land worship is to ensure that the land where we decide to live will be fruitful and prosperous. Our families have been nomadic for centuries, and to help them settle permanently, we are running a campaign to request land from the government. The government has been very supportive in this effort, which is why residential plots are allocated. However, it often takes years for this to materialize.
The Saraniya families of Surendranagar have lived here for years. Thirteen families had approached us years ago. The settlement lacked basic facilities like electricity and water, and all families lived on the outskirts of the village. Without electricity, there were difficulties, especially at night when accidents occurred due to the lack of light. The community leader, Kalubhai, had raised this issue with us, and through our worker Harshadbhai's efforts, they received access to electricity and other necessary facilities.
Then came the turn for their own plots and homes. After years of hard work, these families were allotted residential plots by the government. The government provided assistance of 1.2 lakh for building houses on the plots. Additionally, they provided 12,000 for building toilets. However, given the rising costs, this amount was not enough to construct a house. Our respected Kishorebhai Patel (Uncle) and dear Kushalbhai contributed towards building homes for eight families in memory of Kushalbhai. Likewise, respected Natvarbhai Shah also assisted in constructing five homes. Thus, with the help of the government and VSSM-connected individuals, it was decided to build homes with a room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom, and a nice courtyard.
The time then arrived for the land worship ceremony. On the day of Shivaratri, a land worship program was organized, and the land was blessed by Shri Kiritsinhji Rana, former Cabinet Minister and MLA. Local leaders from the district and taluka panchayat, as well as citizens of Chuda, were present, along with our Saraniya families. Our worker Tripatiben also came from Wadhwan for the occasion.
The constant hard work of our worker Harshadbhai paid off. We hope that many more families will receive land to settle on, all with proper addresses, and that God will continue to make us an instrument for everyone's good.

સદીઓથી રઝળપાટ કરતા પરિવારોને જે ભૂમિ ઠરીઠામ કરવા આવકારે એ ભૂમિનું પૂજન શ્રદ્ધા સાથે થાય તે જરૃરી. આમ તો ભૂમીપૂજન પાછળનો આશય પણ જે ભૂમીમાં રહેવાનું નક્કી કરીએ તે ભૂમિ ફળે, બરકત થાય એવો. અમારા પરિવારો સદીઓથી રઝળી રહ્યા છે. આ પરિવારોને સ્થાયી થવા સરકાર જમીન આપે એ માટે અમે મૂહીમ ચલાવીએ. સરકાર પણ આ કાર્યમાં ખુબ મદદ કરે. એટલે જ રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ ફાળવે. જો કે આમાં ઘણી વખત વર્ષો લાગી જાય એ પણ હકીકત.
સુરેન્દ્રનગરનું ચુડા ત્યાં સરાણિયા પરિવારો વર્ષોથી રહે. 13 પરિવારો વર્ષો પહેલા અમને મળેલા. લાઈટ, પાણીની વસાહતમાં સુવિધા નહીં. બધા ગામના છેવાડે રહે. વીજળીની સુવિધા નથી એટલે તકલીફ પડે છે. એરુ, ઝાંઝવુ નીકળે તો રાતના અંધારામાં ભળાય નહીં. ઘણી વખત એના કારણે અકસ્માત થયા છે. તે લાઈટ કરી આપો. એવી વાત એ વખતે વસાહતના આગેવાન કાળુભાઈએ કરેલી. એ પછી તો લાઈટ અને એમને ઓળખના અન્ય આધારો મળે તે માટે અમારા કાર્યકર હર્ષદભાઈએ તજવીજ હાથ ધરી ને સૌને એ બધુ મળ્યું.
હવે વારો હતો પોતાના પ્લોટ અને ઘરનો. વર્ષો મહેનત કરી પછી સરકાર શ્રી દ્વારા આ પરિવારોને રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ ફળવાયા.
પ્લોટ પર ઘર બાંધવા સરકારે દ્વારા 1.20 લાખની સહાય કરી. શૌચાલય માટે પણ 12,000 આપશે. પણ આટલી મોંધવારીમાં આટલી રકમમાંથી ઘર ન થાય. સંસ્થા સાથે સંકળાયેલા અમારા આદરણીય કિશોરભાઈ પટેલ(અંકલે) પ્રિય કુશલભાઈની સ્મૃતિમાં 8 પરિવારોના ઘર બાંધવા મદદ કરી તેમજ આદરણીય નટવરભાઈ શાહે પાંચ ઘર બાંધવા સહાય કરી. આમ સરકાર અને VSSM સાથે સંકળાયેલા સ્વજનો મારફત એક રૃમ, રસોડુ, ટોયલેટ બાથરૃમ અને મજાની ઓસરી સાથેનું ઘર બાંધવાનું નક્કી થયું.
હવે વારો હતો ભૂમીપૂજનનો. શીવરાત્રીના દિવસે ભૂમીપૂજનનો કાર્યક્રમ આયોજીત કર્યો ને પૂર્વ કેબીનેટ મંત્રી અને ધારાસભ્ય શ્રી કીરીટસિંહજી રાણાના હસ્તે જમીનનું ભૂમી પૂજન થયું. કાર્યક્રમમાં જિલ્લા તેમજ તાલુકા પંચાયતના પ્રમુખ તેમજ ચુડાના અમારા સરાણિયા પરિવારો સિવાયના નગરજનો ખાસ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા. વઢવાણથી અમારા તૃપ્તિબેન પણ ખાસ આવ્યા.
અમારા કાર્યકર હર્ષદભાઈની સતતની મહેનત રંગ લાવી.. બસ આવા અનેક પરિવારોને રહેવા જમીન મળે. સૌ સરનામાવાળા થાય અને અમને કુદરત આવી જ રીતે સૌના શુભમાં નિમિત્ત બનાવે તેવી શુભભાવના...
