Mittal Patel visits Sherkhanbhai's house in benap

 “I took this house, postponing the marriage of my young daughter, to preserve your honor. Isn't your soul happy to see the house?”

The Lions Club of Shahibaug gave Rs 50,000 to each of the twelve families including Sherkhanbhai to build a house in Benap. We know that a house cannot be built in fifty thousands rupees.. But if the person himself adds money, the fun of living in that house will be much more.

We said at the time, “Take time but build a nice house”.

Sherkhanbhai, Mashruba, Chhatrabhai sold the plastic pots and buckets and saved each single rupee at a time to make a nice house as seen in the photo.

However, in the meanwhile, when he got tired, we did a little help of seven thousand again. While helping on that, We said again, 'If you don't finish the house, no one will trust us and no one else will give you help in future.”

He understood this very well .. He spent about three lakhs in one house and built a nice house.

When I went to Benap, he held my hand and took me to his house. He showed how he has built and decorated the house.  Love to all these families ..

We always thank all the supporters. But these families paid the value of our trust.

વાત બેણપથી...

'તમારુ મોન જળવાય એ હાતર મારી જુવાન છોડીના લગન કરવાનું હાલ મોડી વાળીન્ મીએ આ ઘર કીધુ. તમારો આતમા ઘર જોઈન રાજી થ્યો ક નઈ?' 

બેણપમાં રહેતા શેરખાનભાઈ ને એમના જેવા બીજા 12 પરિવારને ઘર બાંધવા માટે લાયન્સ ક્લબ ઓફ શાહીબાગે પ્રત્યેક પરિવારને પચાસ હજાર આપેલા. અમે જાણીએ પચાસ હજારમાં ઘર ન બંધાય. પણ વ્યક્તિ પોતે પણ પૈસા ઉમેરે તો એ ઘરમાં રહેવા જવાની મજા જ કાંઈ ઔર થઈ જાય..

અમે એ વેળા કહેલું, 'સમય લેજો પણ ઘર સરસ બાંધજો'તે શેરખાનભાઈ, મશરૃબા, છતરાભાઈએ તો પ્લાસ્ટીકના તબકડાં ને ડોલો વેચી એક એક પાઈ ભેગી કરીને ફોટોમાં દેખાય એવા સરસ ઘર બનાવ્યા. 

જો કે વચમાં એ થાકેલા ત્યારે સાત સાત હજારની નાની મદદ ફરી કરેલી. આ નાનેરી મદદ કરતી વેળા ફરી કહેલું, 

'ઘર પુરુ કરજો નહીં તો કોઈ આપણા પર ભરોષો નહીં કરે ને બીજા કોઈ ગરીબને મદદ નહીં મળે' 

બસ આ વાત એમણે બરાબર સમજી.. 

ત્રણ લાખ જેટલો ખર્ચ એક એક ઘરમાં એમણે કર્યો ને સરસ ઘર બનાવ્યા.બેણપ ગઈ ત્યારે હાથ પકડીને પોતાના ઘરમાં લઈ જઈને ઘર કેવા બનાવ્યા ને કેવા સજાવ્યા એ એમણે બતાવ્યું.. સાથે તમારુ મોન જાળવ્યું એવું પણ કહ્યું..

આ કાર્યમાં અમારા કાર્યકર ભગવાન આ પરિવારોને સતત પીઠબળ પૂરું પાડે માટેજ આ શક્ય બન્યું ..

આ બધા પરિવારોને પ્રેમ..

મદદ કરવાવાળાનો તો હંમેશાં આભાર હોય. પણ અમારી જીભાનની કિંમત આ પરિવારોએ બરાબર પાળી...

Mittal Patel meets Vansfoda families of Patan

The government has made special provisions and budgetary allocations to ensure its pledge of housing for all by 2022. The Panchayat Raj Department has also passed a mindful resolution to make this pledge a reality. According to the resolution, if the name of any family eligible to receive a plot in the village remains unregistered in the Panchayat Register, the respective revenue officer and Circle Inspector will be held responsible for the gaps. The TDO will also have to take a certificate from the Circle Officer that assures that the register is duly maintained. 

If this provision is implemented properly no family will remain homeless, also it is the citizens' responsibility to ensure this resolution is put in practice. 

We have started providing the lists and applications of homeless families in our contact, to the respective District Collectors. As a result, excellent work has begun happening at the grassroots. 

Recently, the land committee approved the allocation of plots to 4 Vansfoda families of Patan’s Vadu village. 

The collector of Patan is an extremely humble human being. In a recent meeting, he assured to call a special meeting to review and speed up the applications. 

It is a well-known fact when the political and administrative wings join forces the outcome is always worthwhile. We are expecting similar wonders in this aspect too. 

We are grateful to the Collector, the administration and the Government for their proactiveness.

 2022 સુધીમાં ઘરવિહોણા તમામ પરિવારોના ઘર થાય એ માટે સરકારે અલાયદુ આયોજન અને બજેટ ફાળવ્યા છે. 

આ આયોજનના ભાગરૃપે પંચાયત વિભાગે એક સુંદર ઠરાવ કર્યો છે. જે મુજબ ગામમાં પ્લોટ મેળવવાને પાત્ર એક પણ કુટુંબનું નામ પંચાયતના રજીસ્ટરમાં નોંધાયા વિનાનું  રહી જશે તો તે અંગે સંબધકર્તા તલાટી કમ મંત્રી અને સર્કલ ઈન્પેક્ટરને અંગત રીતે જવાબદાર લેખવામાં આવશે.ટીડીઓ શ્રીએ પણ સર્કલ ઓફીસર પાસેથી રજીસ્ટર્ડ બરાબર નિભાવાય છે તે મુજબનું પ્રમાણપત્ર લેવાનું રહેશે.આ જોગવાઈનો બરાબર અમલ થાય તો એક પણ વ્યક્તિ ઘર વગરનો ન રહે.. વળી આ ઠરાવનો અમલ કરાવવાની જવાબદારી પ્રજા તરીકે આપણી..

હાલમાં અમે જુદાજુદા જિલ્લા કલેકટર શ્રીને ઘર વિહોણા અમારા સંપર્કમાં હોય તેવા પરિવારોની યાદી વિધીસર દરખાસ્ત સાથે આપી છે. જેના લઈને કેટલાક જિલ્લામાં કલેક્ટર શ્રી દ્વારા ઉત્તમ કાર્ય થવા માંડ્યું છે.

તાજેતરમાં જ પાટણના વડુમાં રહેતા 4 વાંસફોડા પરિવારોને પ્લોટ આપવાનું લેન્ડ કમીટીએ નક્કી કર્યું..

પાટણ કલેક્ટર શ્રી બહુ ભલા વ્યક્તિ છે. તમની સાથે થયેલી બેઠકમાં એમણે તમામ અરજીઓ પર જરૃર પડે એક બેઠક બોલાવી યોગ્ય કરવાની અમને ખાત્રી આપી.. રાજકીય પાંખની કટીબદ્ધતા દેખાય છે. બસ વહીવટી પાંખ એમાં જોડાય તો ઘણું સુંદર કાર્ય થાય..

કલેક્ટર શ્રીનો ખુબ આભાર..અમણે જે પરિવારોને રહેવા પોતાની જગ્યા આપી તે હાલમાં જે સ્થિતિમાં રહે છે તે ફોટોમાં જોઈ શકાય છે. આ સ્થિતિ બે વર્ષમાં બદલાશે..મદદ કરનાર અધિકારીગણ, સરકારનો આભાર...
